Exhibit A has a new commissioning editor. Bryon Quertermous joins the publishing team following a career as a freelance editor and writer of crime and mystery fiction, during which he picked a CWA Debut Dagger nomination. He starts today, December 16th, working remotely from his home in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA.

Outgoing editor Emlyn Rees is returning to full-time writing and will be launching the Dark & Stormy crime festival in 2014. His last crime novel Hunted was published by Corsair, and his adult parody We’re Going on a Bar Hunt, written with wife Josie Lloyd, has been one of the most talked-about books of this Christmas season.

Do join us in welcoming Bryon to the fold, and here’s a handy Twitter link, and of course take a moment to say goodbye to a wonderful colleague, Mr Emlyn Rees!
